Your initial consultation
lasts about one-hour, and is complimentary. You will receive a Begin
Your Walk kit, which will include everything you will need to start
the process (if you haven't already received one). We will describe
the process we use to scrapbook your photos and show you examples of
our work. In your initial consultation, we will discuss your ideas for
your album. We will look at the number of photographs you have, the
types of page designs preferred, and the overall organization or theme
of your album. We will discuss what is envisioned for the final project
as well as the initial estimate of the album. You have the option to
choose the style, theme and color scheme of your layouts, or let your
consultant do it all for you. You will choose your album from our catalog,
or you may provide your own.
A contract will be given to you detailing the above topics. A deposit
of 30% of the total project cost plus the cost of the album is due at
the time the contract is signed.
We then schedule a second meeting to go through your photos, making
notes for titles and journaling, and arranging the pictures into pages.
Based on your description and notes from the initial consultation, the
framework of your album is then put together with layouts for each page.
Your consultant will then begin designing your album using the framework
provided for each page. The amount of time needed for each page varies
according to the number of photographs, amount of journaling, as well
as other albums your consultant may have in progress.
