Sorting
and Organizing your photos
If you really feel overwhelmed sitting in front of a huge stack of photos,
we can help. Our organizing time is designed to help you get your photographs
ready for your custom album. With the assistance of A Walk Down Memory
Lane's consultant, you will sort and organize your photos and plan page
layouts. Once this important step is done, you can complete your pages
much quicker on your own, or have us make a custom album for you. Photo
sorting and organizing is charged at $15 per hour. Included are some
guidelines and tips on how to best sort and organize your photos. back

Turning
your handwriting into a computer font
At A Walk Down Memory Lane, we believe your handwriting is one of the
most important parts of your album! That is why we recommend you use
your own handwriting to journal on all of your pages. However, some
people don't like their handwriting, or would like to use the computer
to do their journaling to help with spacing, etc. We can help you turn
your handwriting into a font that you can use in any Word Processing
program. We can turn your handwriting into a font that will show on
your drop-down list of fonts in programs like Word, Works, or WordPerfect.
This service is charged at $35 and that includes the sheets you need
to scan into our program, along with any finishing touches you would

Journaling
in your albums - including poems and sayings
Although we firmly recommend that you journal in your own handwriting,
we will add journaling to your pages. We can either write it by hand
ourselves, or we can use poems or sayings that you supply, or that we
find. You can also write your own journaling for us to use your handwriting
turned computer font for your pages. This service is $2.50 per two page

Creating
computer generated scrapbooks using your digital photographs
If you have digital photos you would like to use instead of printed
photos, we can turn those photos into a digital scrapbook for you. We
have a number of different programs that can be used to make scrapbooks
to burn on a CD and share with relatives across the country. We can
also scan your "old fashioned" layouts into a CD for you to share with
your family as well. This service is charged at $20 per hour and that
includes use of our computer programs, creative lettering, and scrapbook
related clip art. If you would like to have duplicates made of your
original album, copies are available at $10 per copy. back

Creating
keepsake slide shows for anniversaries, weddings, or for your own computer
At A Walk Down Memory Lane, we want to make your special events really
special! We can take any photo collection and turn it into a slide show.
We can insert clip art, music, handmade embellishments, creative lettering,
poems and sayings, etc. to your photos for you to show at your weddings,
anniversaries or any other special event that you would like to showcase
your memories. Because the pricing varies depending on size of the project,
please contact us for a price quote. Again, we strive to work within
your budget, so we will get something special made just for you no matter

One-on-One
Scrapping time
One-on-One sessions are designed to help you get your pages completed.
If you are interested in learning the fundamentals of creating photo
albums or scrapbooks, a two-hour personal beginners instruction will
give you the training and confidence you need to begin your own album.
Essentials such as cropping and matting photos, using borders and accessories,
lettering tips and page design will be covered. A Walk Down Memory Lane
beginners kit, full of helpful hints is included in your personal session.
Once you have taken the beginner course, you are on your way. However,
some people still want some extra attention. You can come over to our
studio and use our supplies along with one of our consultants, and we
will help you complete your pages. We will help you with page layout
and design, embellishments, and even use of our computer for journaling.
Our goal is to help you get you confident enough to scrap your photos
on your own, but we know how scary cropping your first few pages worth
of photos can be. This one-on-one service will be charged at $10 per
hour plus any supplies used. You are free to use any of our non-disposable
tools at any time, just like group workshops.
Or, if you don't feel comfortable in a class setting, we can teach any
of our classes on a one-on-one session. The normal class fee will be
charged for this service. You don't pay any extra for getting a one-on-one
session, but scheduling time is limited. back
